Black Ale aged in oak and re-fermented with Balaton Cherries. Conditioned for 1-2 years in sour oak and then secondarily fermented on 4 lbs/bbl of whole Michigan Balaton Cherries from Kings Orchard. Jet black with ruby tones at the edges, aromas of bittersweet cocoa and cherry juice with a heavy, fruit forward cabernet-like cherry flavor to pair with the toasty, smoky flavors of charred oak and black ale.
